As a young girl growing up in Rome , Italy , I was captivated by the beautiful scenes and intriguing faces in the old paintings that graciously hung in each room of my grandmother's Pensione, where I lived. I loved curling up in my mother's green velvet, overstuffed French settee, and often imagined myself, not unlike many little girls, the princess of a beautiful, distant land, much like the wonderful places that adorned the walls of our home. Little did I know in the tenderness of my youth, that being raised in Europe and exposed to such treasures would instill such a lasting passion. While it offered me certain luxuries and wonderful experiences, our ensuing move to New York City when I was eleven, opened up many avenues, possibilities and promising adventures for me.

As we mature out of our dawning years, we all grow and learn to appreciate the many marvelous things this life has to offer. For me, these things are my love for antiques and art. Being surrounded by museums in New York , as well as the art in our home, it was inevitable that at some point in my life, I would want to share that love with others. And so, it is with great pleasure, I am able to do just that by having my own Antiques Shop in Virginia Beach, Virginia, where I now reside with my husband.

I have come a long way from Rome , and yet not that far as I have brought with me that love for all things long forgotten. And it is here, on this website, that I want to share with you all the splendor that antiques and art have to offer!
